What educators are saying

I needed a different way to try vocabulary that wasn't kill it and drill it. This was fun to do with the students.
This resource is fantastic for building vocabulary. My students enjoyed working with the different categories, which helped them gain a deeper understanding of the vocabulary terms.

Description

Limited vocabulary, especially academic vocabulary, can be a huge barrier to student success in seventh and eighth grades. In just 10 minutes per day, you can effectively build your middle schoolers' academic language skills with activities that focus on building a strong foundation word knowledge.

These simple, targeted vocabulary activities focus on Tier 2 vocabulary to help transition students from basic word recognition to application.
