I've had many student and teacher requests for more word ladders, so I have added more puzzles - This is Volume 2 of 4. These differentiated Word Ladders are fun word guessing puzzle games to help with vocabulary and spelling skills, and are also great for ESL students.

Students give answers to clues and definitions, changing one letter at a time as they go down or up the ladder until all spaces are filled. Includes printable and paperless (Google Slides) options.

⭐️ Why use word ladders in your classroom? Puzzles are highly engaging for students, but they also give students plenty of opportunities to build their critical thinking and logic skills. Students can build vocabulary, spelling, and logic skills with these fun activities. For English learners, students are sure to learn some new words, and it's a great time to go over the pronunciation of the words to show that similarly spelled words can be pronounced in very different ways. Differentiated versions with multiple level options make them perfect to use with a variety of ages and grades.
