If you are new to the Wonders Reading Curriculum and having trouble juggling all of the activities, you are not alone. This document includes ALL UNITS/ALL WEEKS/ ALL YOUR PLANS so your year of reading is set! Units 1-6, include 5 weeks of reading in each unit and five day plans (1 day for assessment/centers) per week. If you purchase these plans, your reading will be taken care of for the entire school year! The lesson plans are easy to read, organized into steps, and scripted so a lot of the work is done for you! Best of all I wrote these plans as a WORD DOCUMENT so you can easily edit them and adapt them into what you like. Each lesson includes learning targets, group activities, independent activities, and a scripted style lesson. The lessons cover:

ALL UNITS 1-6

Each week in the units cover:

-Day 1: Essential Question, collaborative conversation, genre, and listening comprehension

-Day 2: Vocabulary, vocabulary strategy, and shared read

-Day 3: One of the comprehension strategies/skills (I alternate each week since many overlap throughout the units) reread shared read, literature anthology reading

-Day 4: Close reading/audio reading with the literature anthology/respond to reading questions

*Day 5: Assessment/Centers (vocabulary/comprehension assessments, wonders online, leveled readers)

BONUS: List of weekly vocabulary words ready to display or print out for students! Each word is numbered and defined.

You will need to supplement these lessons with the curriculum resources such as Wonders online, teacher guides, printables, and the Readers Workshop books/Literature Anthology. I often find additional practice here on TPT or on other sites. These lessons gave me a much more concrete plan to follow than the guides provided and I hope they help you and your learners as well!
