Description

This pack of activities is an excellent way to add some rigor to your viewing of 2017 Wonder movie. It is not a book to film comparison guide. These activities are tailored specifically for this movie! You may use one or all of the enclosed NO PREP activities to focus your studies, and they would work with the novel as well. Add rigor to your movie-viewing experience with this low-prep, highly-engaging Wonder Movie Viewing Guide!

Student Experience: Your students will have a WONDERful selection of challenging and engaging exercises for this movie as you teach this film as a text. With the quick six-question viewing guide to an analysis of characterization to a variety of prompts, your students will be able to show their understanding of the text. Then, with the interactive, human plot chart activity and the real-world kindness project, your students will be able to get creative and put their understanding to practical use! I love using movie guides as students watch films because they require students to apply a wide range of strategies to comprehend, interpret, evaluate, and appreciate texts beyond the written word.

Included:

- Paired Text for Background Info on Treacher Collins Syndrome

- Comprehension Questions with Answers

- Interactive Plot Review Activity

- Characterization Activity

- Grammar Check Up
