Description

Students will research specific facts about one of the leaders of the Women's Suffrage Movement and create a poster about them for American History class. This also makes for a great Women's History Month project! Students will create a scaffolded research project about famous women in history Susan B. Anthony, Mary Church Terrell, Ida B. Wells, Sojourner Truth, Alice Paul, & Elizabeth Cady Stanton.

These women in history biography templates are great for helping all students access grade level content!

These women were female activists who protested for equality for women and women's right to vote. Some of these women were also Abolitionists who fought to abolish slavery.

You can use this activity as a review of the Suffragists, origins of the Women's Rights Movement, and the passing of the 19th Amendment. This is low prep for you and you can hang the posters around the classroom!
