Description

Students will explore women's issues using a student-directed, project-based approach to learning. This resource is a combination of PBL, problem-based learning, and service learning. It is a perfect Women's History Month project, but it is an important topic for any time of year.

Each student or small group will identify specific issues associated with women in the local or global community, from economic equality to gendercide to body image. Students will plan a course of action and act. Students make a series of choices from project topics to project design and execution. Students do all of this seamlessly with your guidance and the materials included in this resource.

Projects should be expected to take anywhere from 2-6 weeks. The range is wide because it depends on how much classroom time you dedicate to the projects, which brainstorming activities you implement, skill level, age level, etc.

This resource includes a printable PDF version and digital Google Slides version. This resource is NOT editable at this time.
