Looking for winter music activities for your grade 1 music class? These fun winter themed rhythms and solfege melodies (one for each week) are the perfect start to each music class. Introducing a simple rhythm and melody pattern each week is the easiest way to teach music theory to beginners.

• Build a strong routine with a fun and engaging activity to activate your students' brains at the beginning of each music class

This 3-Month Winter Music Activities Pack includes:

• A Powerpoint presentation with embedded sound files (1 slide for each weekly class, four classes per month, for a total of 12 weeks)
• Each slide includes a rhythm pattern and a solfege melody pattern with a sound file for students to clap/sing along with

All you need to deliver these activities are:

• A computer with speakers and a way to share the screen with students (smartboard, projector, etc)

This package was created based on the Ontario Curriculum, but will likely align with other curriculums as well.
