Winter Listening and Following Directions for Language Therapy

These winter-themed scenes are a fun and easy way to address listening and following directions for all ages, and this product also works for mixed groups thanks to the winter articulation list included. Plus, it's NO PREP!

What’s in this download?

• 2 listen and color scenes (backyard snowmen and neighborhood street)
• 2 sets of scripted directions for EACH of the listen and color scenes above
• 1 listen, cut & glue scene along with a page of items for children to cut and paste
• 1 set of scripted directions for the cut and glue scene
• 1 page that includes a winter-themed word list sorted by phoneme (for articulation)
• Detailed directions for use

In addition to listening and following directions, this is a great activity for targeting basic concepts! Concepts included in each set of directions include concepts related to

• color
• quantity
• order (first, last, second, etc.)
• position/placement (including middle, between, below, under, above, in front, behind, closest to, near, etc.)
• size (tall, small, tiny, bigger, medium-sized, etc.)

Prep is SO EASY:

• Just PRINT all pages (or just the pages you want to use).
• Give each student a copy of the scene you choose to use.
• For all 3 scene activities, give students crayons.
• For the cut and glue activity, given students scissors, crayons, and some type of glue. I recommend glue sticks since some of the items are small.
• You'll just read the prompts for listening and following directions! There are 5 sets of directions included, and you can make up your own that specifically meet your students’/clients' individualized needs.
