Winter Holidays Around the World Text, Activities, and Crafts

Students become familiar with Winter Holidays Around the World in this fun and engaging printable or digital unit. Students will enjoy completing a Craft after learning about each of the 5 holidays. We've even included student texts for each! Through reading, note taking, oral presentations, art projects, and writing, the class learns about Christmas, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Las Posadas.

Students research one of the winter holidays in an "expert group," take notes, answer text dependent questions, and create a group holiday poster to share their information with the class.

During presentations, classmates take notes to become familiar with all five holidays. Afterward, students are excited to create amazing art projects related to each holiday.
