Description

It is time for a snowball fight! Use bean bags, recycled paper, balls, “Koosh” Balls. Fantastic winter brain break for all classrooms. “Snowballs Everywhere” is a flexible activity song you can use in any classroom.

Students can toss in their desk space, in personal space in PE, Music and special needs classes. Imagine a winter brain break for those days you can’t get outside! Easily adaptable for all grades.

HOW TO USE:

  • Play alone, play in pairs, play in small groups.
  • Practice juggling to develop eye hand coordination, right to left, up and down directional movement.
  • Practice aiming.
  • Reward days and parties.
  • Toss to the beat of music.

WAYS TO USE THIS MOVEMENT ACTIVITY:

Use this movement activity as a reward for students completing work, as part of your brain break or movement time.

BRAIN BREAK/ TRANSITION

Ultimately you may just need a BRAIN BREAK or TRANSITION between math and reading groups.

If you're feeling brave, you could have it playing for the first five minutes of class!

INDOOR RECESS

You may need an indoor recess activity.

REWARD ACTIVITY

Try using it as a reward activity for the last 5 minutes of class.

MOVEMENT LESSON

Looking for something that may take a bit more time? Try using this as a small cooperative group activity.

Divide the class into smaller groups and let the kids practice the actions together. Then let them perform for each other.

P.E. PHYSICAL EDUCATION ACTIVITY

Take a few minutes and go through the actions with your students or children and really encourage them to make BIG moves.

Show them your version of the movements.

Practice them before playing the video.

Want to get their heart rates up? Have them JUMP when they CLAP!
