Description

You are sent off into the wild with limited supplies. You have to stay quite a few days and need to keep your food safe so that weather and animals can’t get to it. How can you create an invention that will keep your food safe while camping? By going through the Engineering Design Process, you’ll explore current inventions for storing food, wild animal characteristics that impact invention design, plan, create and modify your invention prototype. 

This is one of 6 units I taught in my K-5 STEM classroom; properly named 'STEM Survival Camp'.
