I have used this many times in various primary-aged ESL classes and the children find it very engaging. The information contained on the cards teaches about whether the Australian animals have fur, feathers or scales, where they live and what they eat. The game is designed to be played as a Australian animal quiz and aimed at primary-aged children or those learning English.

Farm animals :Are you studying 'The Farm' or 'Farm Animals'? This is a great card game for children who are learning about farming and farm animals. I have used this many times in various primary-aged ESL classes and the children find it very engaging. The information contained on the cards teaches the students about different farm animals. Read the farm animal clues and have your students guess the animal. Then they can write their own clues for their favorite farm animal. The game is designed to be played as a quiz and aimed at primary-aged children or those learning English.

Celebrity Pets : This is a fun, oral language card game to play with your students to teach the theme 'Pets'. I made this game and the worksheets to teach my ESL students about pets. There are 18 different pet cards and instructions on how to play Celebrity Pets. After playing this game, choose a worksheet (12 included) for your primary aged students. Please note, the worksheets are aimed at different levels of ability and you will need to choose appropriately. I have used this game with students from Foundation to Year 5.

Under the Sea : This is a great card game for children who are learning about the theme 'Sea' or 'Oceans'. I have used this many times in various primary-aged ESL/EAL classes and the children find it very engaging. It is a fun and visual way to learn the vocabulary related to the sea and ocean.
