In this worksheet, students have to make a prediction of which of the 4 containers shown can fit the most popcorn, give reasons for their prediction, and then find the volume of each container using the right formulas to answer the main question.

Containers: Rectangular prism, triangular prism, rectangular pyramid and triangular pyramid

Hits the Common Core Standards 7.G.B.6, HSG-GMD.A.1

and TEKS 7.8A, 7.8B, 7.9A.
