This reading and scientific download is all about eclipses. Students can read about them in three ways:
- Rebus
- Reading passage (same as the rebus but without illustrations)
For both, students can do a review that includes sequencing, answering a question, and writing about the reading. The third reading piece included is:
- Close reading of a quote by Greek lyric poet Archilochus about an ancient eclipse
WRITE
Students can write about an eclipse using one of two templates:
- Reflection card
- A report page
CRAFT
- Cut out a sun and moon to put together an eclipse.
