What educators are saying

Good resource however my students on the Autism spectrum had a tough time with it because of it having only words and no pics

Description

I created this sort for my students to practice determining if an object should be weighed using ounces, pounds or tons. Students simply read the words and decide if the item is light and should be measured in ounces, or heavier, and should be weighed in pounds. Really heavy things should be weighed in tons. They then cut, sort and record the words into the correct category. This can be used for morning work, whole group guided practice, small group work, independent practice or an assessment. Also check out all of my other Math - Measurement activities available in my TPT store! - weight, mass, capacity, length, ballpark estimates, study guide, review, etc. Thanks!
