What educators are saying

I used this as a part of math work stations for our metric mass and capacity unit. The students were very engaged and even went on to add other examples that weren't listed. Great resource!

Description

I created this sort for my students to practice determining if an object should be weighed using grams or kilograms. Students simply read the words and decide if the item is light and should be measured in grams, or heavier, and should be weighed in kilograms. They then cut, sort and record the words into the correct category. This can be used for morning work, whole group guided practice, small group work, independent practice or an assessment. Also check out all of my other Math - Measurement activities available in my TPT store! - weight, mass, capacity, length, ballpark estimates, study guide, review, etc. Thanks!
