Description
This is a complete spelling program for Grades 1 and 2. It is ideal for a split grade classroom but can also be used for just Grade 1 or Grade 2.
Each week has a different phonics focus or letter combination. All 10 words per grade include the phonics sound/letter combination that is being studied. By the end of the year, students will have learned to spell 300 new words.
Each word list has been put on a separate page. This makes it easy to print out just the page you need for the week you are on. Copy the word lists for students to bring home and share with their parents.
The blank activity pages can be used week after week. One page is used for the student to practice writing their new words. The second page is used for spelling practice activities (writing sentences, putting words in ABC order, and drawing a picture). The third page is used for the spelling test at the end of the week.
