Looking for some Irish music activities for your classroom? Check this out!

"Wee Falorie Man" is a great song for St. Patrick’s Day. Your students will enjoy this catchy melody, and it will make a perfect addition to any March lesson. You will receive the sheet music for the song, lyrics sheets, video performance link , 4 rhythmic ostinatos, and 2 melodic ostinatos. A perfect way to have fun, sing, practice rhythms, and give your students the opportunity to play instruments - all in one activity!

Simple rhythmic ostinatos work well with Kindergarten through 2nd grade, while older students can add the xylophone parts.

Rhythms include: (in 6/8) dotted quarter note, quarter note, 8th note, dotted quarter rest

Melodic set: low so-do-re-mi-fa-so-la

Rhythmic Instruments include:

* Hand Drum

* Wood Block

* Maracas

* Finger Cymbals

Melodic Instruments include:

* Bass Xylophone

* Alto Xylophone
