Wayne Thiebaud Art History Lessons 3 Pack History Lesson with Art Projects

Morton Wayne Thiebaud was an American painter known for his colorful works depicting commonplace objects—pies, lipsticks, paint cans, ice cream cones, pastries, and hot dogs—as well as for his landscapes and figure paintings. The lesson is perfect for K through 5th grade with some variations. Students will have the opportunity to explore directed line drawing and working with color, line, texture and pattern. The lesson will invite the students to create a beautiful unique art piece inspired by Mr. Thiebaud.
