Description

This file is a zipfile it contains:
A SMARTnotebook lesson on Water Pollution- includes watershed, water divide, pollution, non point source pollution, point source pollution, permeability, porosity, etc.

This same file is converted to both a PDF and PowerPoint file if you want to print note sheets for students. (You can white out or erase parts that you want your kids to fill in with you).

There is also a Water Quality lab. I had several samples of water placed throughout the room under microscopes: well water, city water, rain water, creek water, pond water, distilled water, water from our turtle aquarium, etc. None of the stations were labeled. Students were asked to be a part of the Environmental Protection Agency and determine if they thought the specimens were safe for drinking based on their observations from the microscope. Includes post lab questions and microorganism field guide for students to identify organisms they will see!

This is a great resource. You may email me if you want a preview of the SMARTnotebook. I could not upload multiple preview files.
