What educators are saying

We made a whole day out of this! It was such a fun activity and they had fun pairing it with the movie!
Great way for students to stay engaged and to stop to check for understand while students were watching. Allowed for great conversations while watching as well!

Description

This packet is "REEL FUN" and ready to go for the month of April for Earth Day!

Sometimes you have to miss a day and you don't always know ahead of time. Sometimes, things just don't go as planned and you need some emergency lesson plans! This packet is for YOU friend!! EVERYTHING is NO PREP. All you need is the movie Wall-E and you are ready to go!

The movie guide included in this set is separated over three days, so there are three total days of lesson plans included to go with those three movie parts. The movie guide is time stamped so you can prepare students for specific parts of the movie to answer their questions if you like, or you can just look back and see the exact part for each answer. You can also use the time stamps to go back over the answers with students and allow them to see if they were correct or not.

In addition to the movie guide, you will find a journal entry for each day, you will find printables for each of the following: Journaling, Science, Math, Social Studies, and a Brain Break.

There are THREE levels included in this packet. Level One is geared toward kindergarten and first grade. Level Two is geared for second and third grade. Level Three is geared for fourth and fifth grade. You could also use the different levels to differentiate within one classroom - giving your students that need something extra a level higher than the rest of the class or the students that might struggle more a level lower than the rest of the class. Every page is labeled with the day number, the subject, and the level to keep you or your substitute super organized!!

Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
Compose and decompose numbers from 11 to 19 into ten ones and some further ones, e.g., by using objects or drawings, and record each composition or decomposition by a drawing or equation (e.g., 18 = 10 + 8); understand that these numbers are composed of ten ones and one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine ones.
Count to 120, starting at any number less than 120. In this range, read and write numerals and represent a number of objects with a written numeral.
Understand that the two digits of a two-digit number represent amounts of tens and ones. Understand the following as special cases:
