What educators are saying

I printed this in color and it helped the students with each question word as we practiced where we would use it in our sentences. It is a great resource!!
My students need all the help they can get to write better sentences. This resource was so helpful. I always love a resource more when it is color coded. This helped the students see the changes.

Description

These WH question words are ideal for practice with answering wh questions and asking wh questions when speaking and writing. These anchor charts are great visuals that encourage students to add details and descriptions to writing. Ideal for using "wh" words to improve and expand sentences.

These sentence posters have been used with ESL/ELL language learners and special education students.

Question words include:

  • Who?
  • What?
  • Why?
  • Where?
  • When?
  • How?

Some posters contain the question “How,” and some do not. Choose what best suits your students' needs.

There are two different sentence poster versions in various color combinations, including black and white. The included student reference cards match each poster style.
