Description
Calculus students will find the volume of a solid using known cross sections in this project that includes computer and hands-on components. Students will create their own 3D solid and use www.desmos.com and a GeoGebra applet to make a physical model and multiple computer-generated images.
This is a fun and engaging project for the end of the year in a calculus course. It works well for students to do individually or with a partner.
