Visual Arts Grades 5 and 6 Curriculum

This is a Visual Arts Curriculum Guide for Grades 5 and 6 based on the expectations laid out in the Ontario Ministry of Education Curriculum, Grades 1-8, The Arts. I have looked at each expectation and suggested lessons that will satisfy each and every one according to the Principles and Elements of Design. I have provided a list of materials, some diagrams, charts, and images of expected art work. Further, there are several included referrals to other products in my store that lend themselves to enhancing this unit. There is enough to cover the entire year. It is a serious attempt to teach art not just on Fridays.
