Description
Introducing "Color, Cut, Glue" - a themed preschool art project specially designed for special education students. This resource addresses fine motor skill development through simple, theme-based art projects. It also helps address receptive and expressive language.
This resource will help you provide structure by presenting the activity, in the same way, every time. This will help build a familiar routine and increase predictability. Your students will begin to understand "what work", "how much work" and "when am I done with the work".
Plus, the visual directions on the left side will keep everything in one place so you don't have to gather so many materials. The visual sentences at the top of each art project can help your students connect with their parents about what they made when they bring the project home.
This set of Visual Art Projects builds upon the first set. The first set didn’t require cutting, but this set does. Whether the child can cut around the objects, or snips the squares, they can be differentiated to meet their needs. The simple instructions on the left are visual. The sentence at the top can help children show their families and caregivers what they made.
An editable pdf template is also included so you can make your own art projects based on books or themes you are using in your classroom.
