What educators are saying

I love all the different art projects! I love the visuals and it really has helped my students follow directions. I am also able to work on fine-motor skills.
My autistic students love these worksheets. The visuals for the sentences are wonderful and the visual directions are an added bonus!

    Description

Do you have students who have difficulty paying attention to art projects? Do the adults end up doing most of the project? Nobody wants that!

Do your students avoid touching anything messy (don't want to touch things like paint)? Mine too! That's why these projects don't require touching any "yucky" sensory materials. The projects do not require cutting, assembling, or multiple steps.

This visual art resource will make your art projects super predictable, short and sweet, while reducing the need to touch materials that sensory avoiders don't like.

This themed set for autism and special education has 7 basic projects. They are very low prep. Simply print the page you want and grab some basic art materials. Some only require crayons, markers, or daubers, and others require construction paper or tissue paper and a glue stick. For painting, you can use a brush, clothespin with a sponge, and/or q-tips.

This resource will help you provide structure by presenting the activity, in the same way, every time. This will help build a familiar routine and increase predictability. Your students will begin to understand "what work", "how much work" and "when am I done with the work".

Plus, the visual directions on the left side will keep everything in one place so you don't have to gather so many materials. The visual sentences at the top of each art project can help your students connect with their parents about what they made when they bring the project home.
