Take an experiential musical Civil Rights tour with this Virtual Musical Field trip: Sounds of Civil Rights! From demanding equality in Washington to refusing to ride segregated buses, the United States has always had musicians singing on behalf of its people. Listen to the 14 songs, learn about brief histories, and reflect.

• Content warning: Civil Rights contains mature content including war, violence, lynching, riots, protests, racism, & Discrimination.
• When in presentation mode, clicking an icon on the map will allow students to jump to the corresponding songs &  activities. Each song has at least 1 listening sample.  These are merely examples for you (I do not own these - all rights belong to original authors/artists) which can be edited.  You can upload different recordings if desired.
