Virtual Field Trip: Place Value Around the World Bundle

This bundle is a complete lesson product that has students engage with tall "things" throughout the world as a part of a large numbers or place value unit. Students are asked to research (building computer skills) various "things" to find out their heights, their locations, and a fun fact. This includes everything from mountain ranges to roller coasters. Students then analyze their findings by answering questions, and then compare the numbers to each other using a math sentence frame and the <, >, = symbols. Both an editable student facing lesson slide deck and an editable student facing handout is included in this bundle. This slide deck also have multiple points where students "Stop and Share," encouraging engagement. It paces the lesson in a way that is scaffolded to meet diverse learners. Students are not just sent off to work on their own for a long period of time, but rather work time is chunked to best fit the needs of all students. This product is editable to best fit your classroom needs, and can be administered in person or remotely. The handout includes an answer key on the last page of the product as well.
