What educators are saying

Great resource that engages the students while viewing the film. I added an essay at the end so the students can use the answers to the film with this worksheet so that they could transfer what they learned into their own words.
This was a good companion to the film that helped students understand the impact of the Great Depression on American families.

Description

This viewing guide has 40 questions that go in order with the film Cinderella Man. There are also 6 post-viewing questions that are short answers. (Some of these questions make past to present connections.) This film portrays the events of the Great Depression (hardships, soup lines, direct relief, hoovervilles, importance of community, etc.). I use this film in my U.S. History class while transitioning from the Roaring Twenties to the Great Depression.

Sorry...the film is NOT included...you will have to purchase that separately. (BUT an Answer Key is included for all of the 40 viewing questions.)
