Description

This viewing guide has 46 questions that go in order with the HBO film Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee. This film portrays the events (loss of buffalo, forced assimilation, Dawes Act, ghost dance, etc.) that lead up to the massacre at Wounded Knee. I use this film while teaching the end of the Indian Era in my U.S. History class. (Now comes with an Answer Key too.)

Also included is a PowerPoint for character introduction. I like to give the students just a bit of background of some of the characters in the film, so they have a better understanding.

Sorry...the film is NOT included...you will have to purchase that separately.
