Description

This 39-slide PowerPoint gives a very comprehensive overview of the 1960s and 1970s conflict.

It includes dozens of pictures, as well as information on the following topics:
Fact sheet overview, Ho Chi Minh, Cambodia, Nixon, anti-war demonstrations, and many songs. These songs include Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA" (with student questions), Creedance Clearwater Revival's "The Fortunate Son" (with student questions), "Ohio" by Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, "For What it's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield, and "Revolution 1" by The Beatles.

There are also quick write reflections for students. Pro-war and anti-war stances are included in depth.

Lastly, there are 13 key vocabulary words defined for students.
