1. Students will analyze the impact of origins, structures, and functions of institutions on society and citizens. Who signed the bill to recognize Veteran’s Day and what is its call to purpose?

2. Participation and Deliberation- Students will analyze civic rights, roles, and responsibilities. What is the protocol when say the Pledge of Allegiance and the playing of the National Anthem?

3. Demonstrate the procedures for the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance and proper etiquette for the American Flags. Common Core Standards: CCRA.R.1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 9, 10/ CCRA.W.2, 4, 7, 8, 9/ CCRA.SL.1, 2, 4, 5
