Veterans Day is an important day to honor our nation's military. Teaching our students about Veterans Day is also important to all of us. Hopefully you will be able to use this free differentiated passage resource to teach about veterans in your classroom!
There are high, medium, and low passages designated by a square, triangle, and circle in the top left corner of every passage for easy & discreet coding for the teacher, while students all appear to have the same assignment. I've created each passage on three different reading levels to make differentiation much easier. I've leveled each passage with its Guided Reading level, as well as its' grade equivalence. Rigorous questions with an answer key is provided. These are written with grades 3-6 in mind.
