Description

Verbs QR Code Cube Writing Unit: Action, Linking & Helping Verbs

There are so many types of verbs in the English language that it is often difficult for even native English speakers to use and understand the proper tense and type of verb. This 18 page set features posters explaining action, linking and helping verbs, examples, 2 songs, and 3 QR Code Cubes with 6 writing prompts each. Standards covered are from 2nd through 6th grade. Posters include Verbs, Action Verbs, Linking Verbs, Helping Verbs, & Differences Between Linking & Helping Verbs along with directions on how to use QR Codes.

QR Codes are fun, easy to use, and engaging. You must have a QR Code reader in order to use these writing prompts. Scan the code and the students can begin responding in NOTES. Once they are finished, they can email them to you or take a picture using the home button and the on/off button of your device and keep in their digital portfolio. Students can also write their responses to the prompts the old fashioned way using pencil and paper.

Each cube contains 6 different writing prompts for your students to enjoy. Included is a combination of narrative, opinion, and poetry. Prompts are appropriate for 3rd through 6th grades.
