Description

This party pack contains everything you need to enjoy Valentine's Day with your upper elementary students. (4th, 5th, 6th - Classes of any size!) 

Whether you are the lone adult in the room OR have parent volunteers, this party in a pack is perfect. The pack includes three Valentine's themed games - Heartfelt Heroes Mix and Match, For the Love of Numbers, and Mission Possible, which can be played in isolation or consecutively. 

Between playing the party pack games, awarding the included prizes, and passing out Valentine cards, the school day will be over in a flash. Personal experience tells me that the teacher and the kids will be happy. Basically, for one afternoon, all will be well in the world! 

Time Constraints: 

Each game, on average, should take approximately 15-20 min. 

Played consecutively, they will take approximately 60-90 minutes.

Game 1: Heartfelt Heroes Mix and Match 

As teams, students will use the American Hero Quotes sheet to match each puzzle strip with its 'partner' strip. The first team with all ten matching pairs complete and correct will win first place etc.,

Game 2: For the Love of Numbers 

Students will work with their teams to solve ten math-related tasks correctly. The first team with all twelve tasks complete and correct will win first place etc.,

Game 3: Mission Possible (15 pages) 

Students must complete one Mission Possible task at a time. Before starting their next task, teams must obtain teacher initials signifying current task completion. Students will work as a team to complete all tasks.

  • Teacher Instructions (any needed preparation and gameplay) 
  • Student Instructions (objective, rules, after/fast finisher) 
  • Mission Possible Student Tasks To Do Sheet 
  • 10 Mission Tasks (example task - On the included piece of paper, work together to write a love poem that rhymes with exactly ten lines. Using tape or a magnet, post your love poem on the classroom door.)
