Valentine's Day Crafts, Cards for Parents from Students Valentine Craft Patterns

Have adorable student-made Valentine's Day parent crafts, cards for years to come! This resource includes 8 different designs for cute valentine cards and crafts - pick a different design each year or for each of your classes.

Each valentine craft has 2 sets of printable patterns that were designed to save you paper and copies.

Set 1: Print on white paper. Students color the pieces, cut, and assemble.

This set requires the least amount of copies and has the pieces combined onto as few sheets of paper as possible. Students color the pieces, cut them out, and assemble the card.

Set 2: Print the pages onto colored paper. Students cut and assemble.

This set has the pieces separated so they can be copied onto colored paper eliminating the need for students to color each piece. Students cut out the pieces and assemble the craft.

Step by step instructions with pictures are provided for each valentine craft. You also receive printable guides to use with students.

The valentine crafts are animals made with hearts. Students follow general guidelines for assembly but they can arrange their hearts in unique ways to show their personalities and styles. They turn out so cute!

You can also create the heart animals without the valentines to use as cute classroom decorations or bulletin boards.

You'll receive patterns and instructions for the following Valentine's Day cards/crafts (please see the preview file for pictures of each):

• Dog Card Style 1 - Long ears, dog has a valentine in his mouth that reads "I "paws-itively" love you! Happy Valentine's Day!".
• Dog Card Style 2 - Shorter ears, different style of face, dog holds a valentine in his paws that reads "I "paws-itively" love you! Happy Valentine's Day!".
• Bear Card - This card has 2 different styles of valentines from which to choose (a rectangular full-color valentine OR a heart-shaped valentine that can be printed onto colored or white paper). Both valentines say "I love you "beary" much! Happy Valentine's Day!".
• Bee Card Style 1 - The valentine message is on the wings ("Bee" mine! Happy Valentine's Day!").
• Bee Card Style 2 - The valentine message is on a heart (My heart "bee-longs" to you!).
• Lovebug Card - Has wings that open up to reveal the message, "Happy Valentine's Day from your little lovebug!" (requires brass fasteners).
• Lion Card - The lion holds a heart in its mouth that reads "I love you and I'm not "lion"!
• Bonus Thumbprint Poem Craft - A heart with a special valentine thumbprint poem inside. Students dip their thumbs in finger paint and make thumbprints around the outside of the heart.
