Description

If you are looking for a special kindness activity, this is the PERFECT resource for both January or February. This Kindness Mobile craft and writing prompt can be used to teach K-3 students about Dr. Martin Luther King and it is also perfect for Valentine's Day to teach your students about random acts of kindness. This Kindness Mobile can also be made in November for World Kindness Day!

Included in this resource, you will receive several custom lightbulb watercolor clipart images that you can choose from. The inspiration for this resource came from the infamous Dr. King quote: "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that."

To create the Kindness Mobile, you can choose from watercolor images or blackline images. If you choose the blackline images, your students can color or use watercolors to paint their mobiles. Hearts have been included with and without lines appropriate for Grades K-3. You can copy the heart onto white card stock or colored card stock for an extra pop of color! There are sample pictures included of the final product put together.

For the writing element of this resource, I have included a detailed writing prompt for both January and February, planning/brainstorming sheets as well as several publishing sheets that are appropriate for Grades K-3 with colored and black/white lightbulb images.

I hope you love my newest resource! As always, if you have any questions or concerns about this product, feel free to contact me and I will get back to you within 24 hours.
