Description
This is a fun, no prep Valentine's Day activity - Just print and use! Students will complete a tri-fold brochure by reading about the history and traditions of Valentine's Day. They will also add some of their own information.
Tasks include:
- "Who is Cupid?" - Read about Cupid and research who his parents were in Roman myth (Venus and Mars)
- "Who Was the Real Saint Valentine?" - Read about the history of Valentine's Day
- Use a QR code to watch a short video on how chocolate is made. Add facts about chocolate to the brochure.
- Read about Valentine's Day traditions
- Use a calendar - add dates and mark February 14 with a heart.
This is a great little activity that gives students a lot of information without taking up a lot of time!
A digital version of this activity is also included through TpT’s Easel feature. It features embedded audio that reads the text aloud.
