Using a Thesaurus #3 includes multiple time savers: a scripted no prep lesson, a standards based lesson plan, an engaging seasonal text, and a cloze activity using a printed or online thesaurus. This can be used as a digital activity or a printable or a combination of both! This product is a zip file which includes a PDF printable as well as a powerpoint version.

This lesson and activity is appropriate for general ed, ESL/ENL as well as special education students. This can be completed individually as independent work or in teams. My students enjoy doing this in partners or as a team of three.
