Using Transitions in Writing SMARTBOARD

This interactive SMARTboard lesson can be used as multiple mini lessons in transitions and practice in choosing the correct transitions in stories and paragraphs. Also great for small group lessons, center activity, partner work, or whole class participation. All slides are self checking. The lesson begins with a minilesson on transitions and various lists of possible transitions. It then gives students a chance to put their skills to work. Level of difficulty increases as lesson moves forward. Activity is engaging and fun. Easily used as an introduction, practice, or remediation. MUST have SMART Notebook software to download and use.
