Upstander: Be the Change

This unit was created to help inspire students to be an upstander at their school and create positive change. Students will learn the difference between being an upstander and a bystander, practical ways to stop bullying, and how their voice matters. I have taught this unit in tandem with the unit I teach on Night by Elie Wiesel and the Holocaust. Not only are students more understanding of what took place, but they become inspired to make a change and be the change.
