Upper Elementary Fractions Bundle - Packets A-H

These materials provide students research opportunities into the skills they are learning.

Packet A: Students will learn about equivalent fractions, angle measurements and solve word problems. This packet offers students opportunities to connect geometry concepts to fractions. Includes angle measurement lesson, printable fraction pieces, and printable protractors.

Packet B: Students will learn about multiplicative identity, reducing, GCF, LCM, and prime numbers.

Packet C: Students will learn about unlike denominators and measurement in US customary system. They will also research the metric system.

Packet D: Students will learn multiplying fractions by a whole, fraction by fraction, and mixed fractions. This set includes connections to music theory.

Packet E: Students will learn about fraction divided by a whole, and fraction by a fraction. They will also review ratios, proportion and scaling. They will experience applying these concepts to art.

Packet F/G: Students will learn to rename fractions in order to add or subtract fractions with mixed numbers. They will have an opportunity to experience probability and statistics and percentages.

Packet H: Students will learn to cross simplify fractions with multiplication and division. They will have an opportunity to research the history of money and learn financial literacy. They will experience the stock market and investments.

All packets include an answer key.
