What educators are saying

This was a good resource for my lower level ELs. I did not use the whole thing. I would use parts of it again.

Description

Dear Educator:

In this education guide, you will find multiple ESL instructional plans I have written in my 23 years of teaching ESL. The lesson plan page and the activity in the preview download give samples of the variety of bundled lesson plans and linked ESL activities included.

I listened to the comments and included lots of free ESL activities and workbooks I have used through the years. The purpose of this education tool is to give new teachers and/or experienced educators ideas on how to write a variety of effective ESL instructional plans. I have included the below items:

  1. I included several lesson plan formats. I focused primarily on the weekly format, but examples of formal and substitute lesson plans are also included. After reading the many lesson plans included, any educator should be able to design some effectively. The goal is for educators to create lesson plans that they are comfortable with and to design lessons that will facilitate structure and successful learning experiences.
  2. I have attached several bundled weekly lesson plans that I have successfully submitted and used in the past. They are bundled, or rather, they are groups of lesson plans. The intent is to get teachers comfortable with reading and writing lesson plans so this process will become very natural thereafter.  The purpose of this education endeavor is for better lesson planning and writing. Additionally, I have linked some very rewarding ESL activities I have used.
  3. I included two sample substitute lesson plans.
  4. I included two instructional plans for a formal observation.
  5. I included several multi-level ESL instructional plans, activities, course descriptions, and outlines.
  6. I included intermediate-level ESL instructional goals and objectives aligned to intermediate ESL reading and writing activities.
  7. As a bonus, I have included links to a variety of multi-level ESL activities that were enjoyable and focused on high interest, multicultural education, vocabulary development, reading, and writing.
  8. As a bonus, I have included a list of some awesome middle school, high school, adult education, and college ESL intermediate level books that I have used with great success.
  9. As a bonus, I submitted a sample ESL Intermediate curriculum guide to be submitted to educate the administrator and/or keep ESL instructional planning in writing for parents and all school members.
  10. As a bonus, I submitted two Spanish history research projects with answer keys for busy teachers.

I hope you enjoy and learn something new from the attached bundled instructional plans and the supplemental instructional resources submitted with them. I wish all educators great success, and I pray my work is of immense value to your education agenda.

In closing, I look forward to your comments, good, bad, and indifferent. Please email me your feedback at eslexcellence@aol.com. Enjoy the students. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Professor Snyder
