Description

It is extremely important that we (teachers) understand the standards so that we can communicate them clearly to our students! Use this resource to break apart your grade level standards to understand what is expected of your students. Once you as the teacher understand it, do the same with your students! This will help your students truly understand what they are learning and why. This resource also provides you an opportunity to plan out students learning targets (daily objectives), vocabulary that will be used and differentiation. This is based on Marzano's Learning Model.

How to Use:
1) Read Standard carefully and circle all the VERBS (what the students will be doing).
2) Underline the NOUNS (extensions of the verbs).
3) Box in the FOCUS (what you will use to accomplish the verb/noun).

Included:
*100% Editable
*Blank Graphic Organizer
*Black and White Copy of Literature & Informational Kindergarten ELA Standards
*Opportunity to break apart standards for understanding, plan for objectives and differentiation from foundation skills to complex learning skills.
