Description

Unity Day is a comedy that addresses bullying issues, with 24 roles ranging from a few lines for the meek or struggling readers, with roles to differentiate all the way up through gifted readers and/or those who enjoy the spotlight.

It is a historical view from a far distant future of a time when Earthling children first attend an intergalactic school and run into some trouble with their new classmates. They struggle to learn to get along despite their differences, but as usual, some are more amenable than others.

Performance time ran about 40 minutes after lots and lots of weekly half-hour practices.

Perfect for drama club or classroom use. My school's drama club is for students in grades 3-5, and they loved acting this out so much, they didn't realize they were building fluency, perfecting intonation, and learning vocabulary all at once!
