Description

Unit circle poster. Breaks down quadrants, angle measure in degree and radians, and coordinates. Great for trigonometry, pre calculus, and calculus.

This digital download allows you to print your own classroom posters! This file is 11”x17” and can be printed at home, school, or local print shop (FedEx, Office Max, Staples, etc.). Laminate for extra long life! Feel free to scale down to make them as handouts for students, or larger to make a big poster by tiling sheets or printing on a large format printer!

-Because of differences in monitor coloring, and printer output, printed pieces may appear different than on screen.

-There is no physical item that will be shipped to you for this listing, just file for download.

-All files are for personal use only. Not for redistribution, sharing, or resale.

Explain how the unit circle in the coordinate plane enables the extension of trigonometric functions to all real numbers, interpreted as radian measures of angles traversed counterclockwise around the unit circle.
Use special triangles to determine geometrically the values of sine, cosine, tangent for π/3, π/4 and π/6, and use the unit circle to express the values of sine, cosine, and tangent for π–𝘹, π+𝘹, and 2π–𝘹 in terms of their values for 𝘹, where 𝘹 is any real number.
Use the unit circle to explain symmetry (odd and even) and periodicity of trigonometric functions.
