What educators are saying
Description
This lab is for students to use in a remote setting.
Color is not the only thing that determines how fast or slow an object heats up. An additional factor in heat transfer is what the object is made of. In the summer months when it is hot during the day and cools off at night, does the water in a pool cool down as fast as the air?
It includes a Google slide presentation with a description of the lab, text boxes for the students to enter data and type answers to questions and a graph for students to plot their data.
It also includes an .mp4 video to upload to your learning platform for the students to watch and record data. There are minute markers in the videos so the students know when to take a reading.
Students can fast forward and rewind the video if needed.
