Ukulele Task Cards for the Music Room

This set of ukulele task cards will have your students excited and engaged, as they practice chords, strumming patterns, and plucking!

• 64 task cards, to print in color and black/ white, to practice C major, A minor, F major, G major, C7, G7, D major, and E major. The task cards practice chords, strumming patterns, plucking strings, ear training, and switching between chords.

You'll also get these digital options:

• Task cards in Google Slides, so you can assign students digitally to do individually
• An Easel assessment you can assign digitally or do as a whole group activity, so students can practice naming chords and self assess their playing
• A Seesaw activity you can assign digitally, which asks students to name and play C major, A minor, F major, and G major

Frequently asked questions (FAQ's)

Question: Does this set require lots of prep?

Answer: To use the task cards, you can simply print on cardstock and cut. If you'd like to laminate for durability, you can. To use the digital options, you can assign a link.

Question: Does this set require technology?

Answer: The task cards can be used without any technology. If you would like to use with technology, the Google Slides, Easel assessment, and/or Seesaw activity can be assigned and completed on Chromebooks or iPads.

Question: Which programs do I need to open up the files?

Answer: The file types include:

• Adobe Reader
• Google Slides

Question: Can I use these task cards if my students don't know all of the chords?

Answer: Yes! Simply print which cards you'd like to use, and/or edit the slides, Easel assessment, and/or Seesaw activity. You could also leave as is and have students teach themselves chords!
