What educators are saying

Students enjoyed coloring their ugly sweaters. We hung some around the room for the season. It was great how it ended up as Ugly Sweater day at our school when we got to this lesson on the Unit Circle.
We loved this activity around Christmas time. It was a great resource for the end of first semester!

Description

A great activity for around Christmas and the Holidays! This activity reviews students’ knowledge of the six trig functions (sine, cosine, tangent, cosecant, secant, cotangent) around the unit circle in radians, but also allows students to let loose their inner child with some coloring! I always encourage students to try to evaluate without having a unit circle in front of them or even without re-creating a unit circle, but by using reference angles and quadrants. There are 20 problems total.
