Description
My students love when we do a project that involves sewing. Ugly Dolls are a perfect subject because you can also incorporate character education with it. The slide show introduces the Ugly Doll history and stories about some of the characters. Included is a lesson typed up the way my district wants, but you can alter it as needed. There is an Ugly Doll Lab worksheet that I have my students work on before they start sewing. It's a great way to tie in Language Arts.
